Designed for large numbers of CPUs (e.g. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.azulsystems.com\/\">Azul<\/a> hardware), but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.azulsystems.com\/events\/javaone_2007\/2007_LockFreeHash.pdf\">microbenchmarks<\/a> claim a small improvement over <a href=\"http:\/\/java.sun.com\/javase\/6\/docs\/api\/java\/util\/concurrent\/ConcurrentHashMap.html\">ConcurrentHashMap<\/a> even on 2 CPUs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just came across this, looks like it has been around on Sourceforge for a while as part of lib-high-scale.
